Nite Ize s-biners September 10, 2009 Jeffrey E. Wohlrab 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I picked up several different sizes of both metal and plastic s-biners. I highly recommend them. As one reviewer said, they would be better if there was more tension on the gates. I've worked around that by using fabric tape on bits that are going to be shut for a long time. They're very handy for hanging stuff off of molle gear while deployed. I'm even using one as my keychain for now. Well worth the price.
S BINERS ARE TOO COOL NOT TO USE February 23, 2010 Lynn A. Nelson (ARLINGTON, VA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought some of these nifty clips from the PX at Fort Lee VA. I found if you put your key ring on the middle part of the S shape, you will not lose anything. It is a little wierd, but this allows you to use either end to clip your keys to a belt loop or a small loop made of 550 cord. I use a small loop of 550 cord around my belt and the keys hang down into my pocket. That keeps the keys handy, off the bottom of my pocket, and the S biner does not ruin the belt loops of my pants.
Great for jump drive March 23, 2010 Chris G. 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This has been a great product. I work in IT and am constantly taking jump drives in and out. I use this clip to secure my drive on my belt loop. I haven't had any issues, been carrying it almost 2 months now. I am also pleased that the paint hasn't scratched off yet revealing silver underneath making it look cheap. You can even still read the text on the other one that's on my key chain that I always keep in my pocket with my keys. Very useful!
I bought these for motorcycle camping gear. March 29, 2010 Robert Rehkopf 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
No Problems, bought for use on my camping trips and to attach 'stuff' to the outside of my gear pouches and bags.
Good for key chains, small items June 1, 2010 Brian R. 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Good for key chains and small cameras, GPS devices, anything with a lanyard, etc.
Just be aware that It can easily come off unless clasp is fully closed. For example: if you clip to your jeans/pants pocket, it can come off with a gentle push. If you clip it to your belt loop or other rope or loop, it very secure.
